About Luca

I am an open-minded and approachable person, and I believe that learning works best in a relaxed and engaging environment. Outside of teaching, I am passionate about football and music, which often become natural conversation topics during lessons. These interests help make classes more dynamic and informal, especially during speaking practice, allowing students to learn Italian through real, everyday discussions rather than artificial examples. I enjoy using common interests and cultural references as a way to make the language more accessible and enjoyable.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is structured, practical, and tailored to each student’s objectives. I privilege conversation as a central learning tool: from the very first lessons, students are encouraged to speak and interact in Italian, even at a beginner level. Conversation is used to build fluency, improve pronunciation, and consolidate grammar and vocabulary naturally and effectively. Each lesson combines guided conversation, short theoretical explanations, targeted exercises, and real-life scenarios to ensure active and confident language use.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes. Depending on the student’s needs, sessions can focus on conversational Italian, exam preparation, academic language, or professional communication. Progress is monitored regularly, and lesson structure and pace are adjusted accordingly.

I am a native Italian speaker with an academic background and experience in higher education environments. This allows me to teach Italian with precision, clarity, and attention to both formal and informal registers, as well as to common difficulties faced by non-native speakers.
