About the lesson
Guten Tag!
I was born and raised in Munich, Germany. I am fluent in German and English. I moved to the United over 30 years ago with my family. I worked as a chief flight attendant for Lufthansa Airlines for many years. When I became a mother I earned my certification as a Montessori teacher in 2006 and have been teaching my students at a local Montessori school the German language with fun songs (I play the piano) and simple games and interesting books. It is important to me to make the whole learning process a positive and fun experience for my students. I worked with pre-schoolers as well as elementary students. I also tutored adults in German. One of my hobbies and passions is acting on stage, mainly in comedies at local community theaters.
Whatever your needs may be in regard to the German language, (writing, reading, spelling, correct pronunciation, etc. school, work or travel) I would love to be of assistance and make the learning an enjoyable adventure and great success! Living in the United States for so many years and also traveling to Germany every year has made me acutely aware of the cultural differences and I enjoy sharing these interesting findings with my students, it helps immensely to embrace, immerse and "feel" a foreign language.

About Susanna
I am an experienced German tutor who is teaching students of all levels and interest and of all ages. All of my students have improved greatly. Beginners who show the willingness to work diligently will be able to form simple sentences and understand some spoken German within a few months already. My nonjudgmental & gentle guidance, positive encouragement and never tiring support shared with lots of fun facts in a relaxed environment always produces success. Some of my students have been or are planning to travel to Germany or stay for months as exchange students. All have received a very good foundation with language skills as well as cultural and historical knowledge.
