About Marie

I am a current student studying the University of Birmingham. Even though I now live in the UK, I have spent most of my life in Germany. I have been peer tutoring for several years now and I'm really trying to understand each student because I know everyone is different and learns differently.

About the lesson

I prepare lessons tailored to each student, which means I will have communicated with them beforehand to make the lessons most effective. Usually 1h lessons, but may vary depending on learning style and need of student. Since I am a native German speaker, I teach German for everyone at any level. This includes studying for exams, completing assignments, improving listening, speaking and writing. Even though I do not have any experience teaching languages yet, I have been teaching STEM for several years now.
