About Iris
I base my lesson plans off your goals and interests, meaning you can pick the “difficulty level”. I am always happy to find creative solutions and compromise. My classes are relaxed and easygoing and I encourage having a growth mindset.
I also want to give you room to do the thinking yourself to ensure you have a solid understanding of everything taught.
I am more than open to constructive feedback and suggestions on how I can make lessons more suited to you!

Hi, my name is Iris! I am a 20-year-old university student based in Langley. I have 3 years of experience teaching English as a second language, and I would consider myself to be a laid-back person. I do my best to accommodate your learning style, so just let me know what helps most. I can assist with literacy, pronunciation, grammar, and refining overall speaking skills.
Let’s make the best of our lessons!
