About Natasha

Hi, I’m Natasha I’m a native English speaker from London, UK. I teach English as a second language (ESL) and help learners feel more confident speaking English, with a focus on conversation, fluency, pronunciation, and natural British English. My lessons are well-structured, supportive, and tailored to your goals.

I like to get to know my students so I can tailor classes to your interests and hobbies. I’m a patient tutor and will always go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Outside of teaching, I enjoy going to the theatre and have a strong interest in the arts.

About the lesson

I have a background in Acting and Musical Theatre, which has strongly shaped my teaching style, developing communication skills, creativity, and confidence—qualities I bring into every lesson to create an engaging, supportive learning environment.

Please note: I do not provide school curriculum instruction or formal exam preparation. My focus is on helping learners of English as a second language improve conversational skills, pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, and sentence or writing structure. I help students use English naturally and accurately by correcting sentences and expressions as they speak or write but I do not teach formal grammar rules or technical terminology.

I incorporate local idioms and phrasal verbs into lessons and can also support adult learners with their transition to life in the UK. For students and professionals, I can help with presentations and workplace communication.

I have experience teaching both adults and young children online, and I plan lessons carefully to suit the learner’s age, level, and goals. Lessons are practical, interactive and adaptable, with space for discussion while maintaining a clear structure. For younger learners, I use short, varied activities, repetition, visuals, and movement to keep lessons fun and age-appropriate.

45 minutes – £15

Lessons take place online via Zoom. I usually only offer 30- and 45-minute lessons, but if you would prefer a 60-minute lesson, please get in touch and we can arrange this.

I enjoy travelling and learning about different cultures, and I often include cultural discussion where appropriate. Above all, I plan every lesson with care, aiming to make learning effective, supportive, and enjoyable—while helping students feel confident using English.
