in a normal session with me we can try several pathways. Most asl classes are supposed to be taught in silence as that is the best way to immerse yourself into deaf culture. If this doesn’t work for you then we can figure out a way together to adjust your learning so you feel comfortable but also learn about the culture.

I’m currently majoring in ASL interpreting and communication sciences at one of the top ten programs in the country. Over the past year I’ve been a tutor and a coach for neighboring districts so I have a lot of experience teaching others one on one. I want to help you understand and learn at your own speed and focus on that you want to get out of our sessions!
