About Joe

I developed a passion for Musical Theatre at a very young age, beginning vocal lessons at age 5. Whilst studying at LMA Liverpool, I managed to secure my first professional contract in Beauty and The Beast at the Epstein Theatre, Liverpool in 2015 as Loopy Louis. After gaining my degree at LMA, I went on to become a finalist on the BBC One Saturday night show ‘Pitch Battle’ as well as being selected to promote the show live on BBC’s ‘The One Show’. I was then lucky enough to find my sea legs and followed a career as a Lead Vocalist for P&O Cruises for 3 years eventually becoming a guest entertainer for companies such as MSC, Saga, P&O and Cunard in 2022. I have recently completed performing as a Swing in an international musical tour with Nickelodeon before finishing 2023 as Jack in Jack and The Beanstalk. I have been teaching since 2017 but in 2020, due to the pandemic, I, like the rest of the world, returned home and was lucky enough to return to LMA Liverpool as a Musical Theatre and Singing teacher, teaching ages 16-21.

About the lesson

I am a professional Musical Theatre performer and lecturer with over 8 years' experience in the industry. I am a firm believer that singing is good for the soul so I work with students who are not just wanting to work professionally in the industry, but also people that want to learn a new skill/have fun. I keep my coaching positive, warm and comfortable for all where we will work collaboratively to progress. My coaching is for ages 10+, with expert knowledge in 16+. Coaching is over Zoom. Lessons vary from 30-60 minutes based on level and age.
