James has helped me massively whilst applying to Drama Schools this year. He has helped me build my rep through finding new and suitable material, we have worked on and improved different songs each week, and in general he has really helped me learn new things about my voice! Couldn’t recommend James enough.

I’ve had lessons with James for a good few years now. He has helped me through a variety of singing grades, auditions, self tapes and just singing for fun! He makes singing enjoyable, clearly explaining the technique and also going above and beyond creating practice tracks and helping sort out cuts and sheet music! I would definitely recommend.

James is an extremally trustworthy tutor because he encourages you and challenges you in equal measure, when you are feeling underconfident he boosts you with support and techniques to help improve. He also keeps me grounded when I get a bit of ahead of myself. Through the many years of being taught by James the biggest reason to be tutored by him is that he teaches you the best ways to work smarter not harder which especially important when singing because you need to relax and enjoy!
