About Francesca

I have trained in Dance (Ballroom & Latin, Ballet/Tap/Street), Drama (LAMDA) and Music since the age of 4 and currently an undergraduate at specialist music college (first study violin), whilst working towards my dance/drama teaching qualifications in the holidays. I have assisted with baby ballroom and Latin (ie under 6s) since I was eight years and old and currently coaching speech and drama voluntarily via Zoom with children from 4 to 11. I can teach LAMDA introductory exams and up to Grade 5 (Verse and Prose/Acting/Reading for Performance/ Public Speaking/Musical Theatre) , Music theory also to Grade 5 and baby /juvenile/ballroom and latin) . Due to Covid I have so far been unable to take some of my higher level Ballet and some instrumental exams but set to do so as soon as out of lockdown.

About the lesson

My teaching method is a step-by step fun approach working from the very bottom upwards and dependent on what the child already knows (or not!). I also utilise my own experiences in exams. competitions, festivals and on stage, as well as as a pupil on Zoom over the past year during lockdown. For very young children I can do a fun mix of dance/drama and music activities using household objects to make percussion instruments.

As a student teacher, my rates are modest at £15.00 per hour but in the initial stages recommend no more than 20 minutes Zoom time for children up to 6 years of age and half an hour from 7 to 11. I actively encourage siblings to work together for mutual benefit. Teaching is at mutually convenient times during school holidays only in blocks of 5 and can be weekly or alternate weeks to fit in with parents work and family schedules. Sessions can be moved with 48 hours notice should weekly schedules change

LESSONS - SCHOOL HOLIDAYS ONLY AND FLEIXBLE TIMINGS TO FIT IN WTH PARENTAL FAMILY SCHEDULES/SHIFT WORK
Sessions 20 minutes up to age 7 based on hourly rate of £15.00 per hour (ie £5.00 per 20 minutes)
Sessions 30 minute for 8 to 11 based on hourly rate of £15.00 per hour (ie £7.50 for half an hour)
72 hours cancellation required if cancelling before start of the course and £5.00 o7..00 administration fee.
48 hours notice for rescheduling of a session
