About Julia

Motivated, professionally qualified TEFL teacher (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) with a Master's degree in English linguistics offers English courses for all levels. My background in linguistics provides me with a thorough knowledge of English grammar and I therefore have an understanding of the problems students face when learning English. Having lived and worked in the United States, I know what it is like to be immersed in an English speaking environment, therefore can help my students improve their fluency as well as develop the perfect accent!

About the lesson

We can begin by having a discussion concerning the objectives to be achieved and I organize my work according to this. This way my working method will be completely adapted to you. During the very first lesson I will try to listen as much as possible so that you feel at ease and have maximum confidence with me. For beginners, I can speak French if needed, but for intermediates and more advanced, we will speak English as much as possible! For those who are afraid of grammar and get confused easily, I'll give some easy tools so you can improve effortlessly. If being shy stops you from speaking, do not worry, as by the end of our lessons you will gain the confidence needed.

Perfect! Excellent cours avec Julia. Après quelques années sans pratiquer vraiment mon anglais, mais en pensant avoir des bases, elle a vite identifier mes lacunes dès les premières séances et avons pu avoir un programme adapté pour avancer à mon rythme et en fonction de mes attentes.
