About Alissa

I maintain a professional-learning environment while establishing rapport and relationships with those I teach. I enjoy using a student’s strengths to study topics that may not interest them or subjects that are a struggle. For example, I use art to study certain math and science topics.

About the lesson

I have an easy going approach to teaching. I tailor my methods and lessons to the needs of my students. I believe in not just giving the answer but full understanding of the method behind the solution. I also really love middle school science and social studies, I am available for a variety of subject matter in those areas.
