About Adnan
I'm currently a medical student at The University of Manchester, holding a First Class BSc Degree in Medical Sciences from Newcastle University.
I have been tutoring for the past 3 years, with subjects ranging from English, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Lately, given current circumstances, I have been adapting my tutoring to allow for online teaching.
I currently speak 3 languages: English, Arabic, and Spanish, and I'm hoping that gives access to provide tutoring for a bigger student pool.
I had immense love for medically-related subjects at GCSEs and A-levels, such that I nearly ranked during my AS Chemistry exams. From that love, I have always wanted to pass on the knowledge for students to teach them about just how incredible these subjects are.

I often like teaching my students with scientifically-proven methods that helps them recall information in the best ways possible, of which is Active Recall.
I like testing students on content that I've taught them by creating questions in multiple ways. Constantly asking questions throughout the weeks is proved to be the best way for a student to recall information and perform well on exams.
My method involves teaching students the content as a first layer, then assisting that content with basic examples, to which we then jump into solving past paper questions. I let the student think outloud to hear their line of thoughts, and then give them productive and useful tips throughout to give more efficiency in answering questions with less time.
I always give homework to students after every lesson, to make sure that they can answer the questions independently without my assistance, and should they feel like they struggled with any question, we solve it together the next lesson and make sure they can solve similar questions afterwards to ensure that they fully understood the concept.
