About Ethan
I am an Engineering student at the University of Bristol and I have one year of tutoring experience, tutoring GCSE level maths whilst completing my A-levels. I have achieved 13 GCSEs at grades 7-9 with a 9 in physics and an 8 in maths. With A*AA in maths chemistry and physics at A-level, I have the relevant subject expertise to be able to tutor both maths and physics to a high level. I also have 2 years experience helping to teach karate which involves many of the same skills as teaching any subject, including communication, teamwork and leadership.

My teaching is example based, starting slowly with the most simple form of a question and working through with my student, continuing to move on to harder forms of the question and more independence, gradually building until my student is capable of completing even the most difficult questions from a particular topic completely independently. Throughout my teaching exam practice is key to ensure not only subject knowledge, but exam performance. I also happily offer support with revision planning and exam timing technique to ensure everything will go smoothly
