As a Mechanical Engineering Technology Student I know how frustrating trying to understand Math, Physics or Chemistry can be! I focus on helping students truly understand Math, Physics and Chemistry rather than just memorizing formulas that will be forgotten 2 days after a test or assignment. My teaching approach is clear, patient, and tailored to each student's learning style. I break down complex concepts into simple, logical steps and connect theory to real-world examples, to maximize engagement and meaningfulness. Each lesson typically begins with a review of key concepts, followed by guided practice using examples and problem-solving strategies. We then work through questions together, building confidence and independence, and finish with tips and practice strategies students can use outside of each lesson. I adjust the pace and focus based on individual goals, whether that is improving grades, preparing for exams or strengthening foundational skills. My goal as your tutor is to not just help students improve their grades, but to help them build confidence in their abilities and develop problem-solving skills that last far beyond the classroom. With the right guidance and support, challenging subjects become achievable and even enjoyable.
