About Salani

Hi, I'm Salani! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, USA, where I graduated with a GPA of 3.66/4.00. During my studies, I received the Chancellor's Award, was named to the Dean's List, and had the honor of being a commencement speaker at my university graduation.

My engineering background has given me a strong foundation in mathematics and problem-solving, and I understand how challenging mathematical concepts can feel when they aren't explained in the right way.

I enjoy helping students build confidence in their abilities and develop a genuine understanding of what they are learning. My approach is patient, encouraging, and structured, with explanations tailored to each student's learning style and current level.

Whether you're building your foundations, preparing for VCE exams, or working through university mathematics, I'm here to help you understand the concepts and approach problems with confidence.

About the lesson

Every lesson is tailored to your individual needs, learning pace, and academic goals.

• Primary school: Building strong foundations in arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentages, and problem-solving.
• High school: Strengthening algebra, equations, functions, graphs, geometry, and other core mathematical concepts.
• VCE Maths: Reviewing key concepts, practising exam-style questions, improving problem-solving techniques, and developing effective exam strategies.
• University mathematics: Support with relevant mathematical concepts, engineering mathematics, calculus, and other topics suited to my area of expertise.

I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind each method rather than simply memorising formulas. Lessons include clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice, and independent problem-solving so students can apply what they learn on their own.

My goal is to help you feel more confident, become a more independent learner, and achieve your academic goals.
