About Michael
My name is Michael, and I am passionate about helping students understand mathematics, especially algebra.
My interest in teaching began when I was still in high school. I noticed that many of my classmates struggled to solve algebra problems and often lacked confidence in their mathematical abilities. Seeing this made me realise how important it is to have someone who can explain concepts in a simple and understandable way.
Later, I went on to study Mechanical Engineering at university. During my time there, I often helped fellow students with mathematics. I enjoyed breaking down difficult concepts into simple steps and watching students gain confidence as they began to understand and solve problems on their own. Those experiences strengthened my passion for helping others learn and inspired me to pursue teaching.
As your teacher, my goal is to make algebra easier to understand by explaining concepts step by step, using practical examples, and creating a supportive learning environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions. I believe that every student has the ability to succeed in mathematics with the right guidance, patience, and consistent practice

Many students think algebra is difficult because they try to memorise formulas without understanding the reasons behind them. My teaching method is different. I break every topic into simple, easy-to-follow steps and use real-life examples so you understand the 'why' before the 'how'.
Instead of rushing through lessons, I make sure you master one concept before moving to the next. We solve problems together, practise different question types, and use shortcuts that make solving equations faster and easier.
My goal isn't just to help you pass your exams—it's to help you become confident enough to solve algebra problems on your own. If you've ever said, 'I'm not good at maths,' I will show you that with the right explanation and enough practice, anyone can understand algebra
