About Sara
I’m a third year Honours Human Behaviour major with a passion for reading and writing. My primary interest is psychology but I have always had a passion for reading and writing, leading me to study the ESL curriculum to be able to help newcomers get more confidence in their English skills. As someone who went through ESL 15 years ago, I can empathize with the challenges and obstacles that most students face when immersing themselves into the English language. I will be sure to stay mindful of these challenges to ensure the best lesson plan and strategy.

I have had lots of experience going through ESL and teaching it later to different groups ranging from 10-30 years old, giving me lots of familiarity with the challenges that students are faced with as well as different techniques of teaching. I will be designing custom lesson plans for each student depending on their strengths and possible areas for improvement, providing a highly structured lesson each time. I am also a third year psychology major so I will use my knowledge of memory retention to deliver the best lessons possible.
