About Shania
I am an English and Cultural Studies Major at McMaster University. I will graduate from my undergraduate program in December 2020. I also work at the Hamilton Public Library as an English Language Learning Tutor, where I help newcomers to Canada improve their English language skills.

My teaching style is very hands-on. I typically tailor classes to the student's needs and learning preferences to feel comfortable and have a better chance of success. My sessions are meant for people of various English proficiency levels and educational backgrounds. We can have a more structured class, or if you're more interested in casual conversation/learning, then we can do that as well. I enjoy creating lessons and classes that meet your individual needs! I am a very relaxed, flexible tutor, and want my students to feel heard and comfortable in my classes.
