About Fakhir
I’m currently completing a professional apprenticeship studying towards the ACA and CTA qualifications, and I have a strong background in maths, having studied both Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A-level.
I understand that maths can feel difficult when it isn’t explained in a way that clicks. I enjoy breaking problems down into simple, manageable steps and adapting my explanations to each student.
I’m patient, approachable and happy to go over topics as many times as needed. My aim is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and make maths feel much more manageable.

I make maths simple and easy to understand by breaking each topic down step by step. My lessons are tailored to each student, focusing on the areas they find most difficult before building up their confidence through practice questions.
I can help with topics including algebra, fractions, percentages, equations, graphs, geometry and problem solving, as well as general GCSE Maths preparation. I’ll also work through exam-style questions and explain mistakes clearly so students understand how to improve rather than simply memorising answers.
My lessons are relaxed and judgement-free, so students can ask as many questions as they need.
