About Aastha

Hello! I am a graduate and a beginner Maths tutor for EYFS and Primary School children. I am passionate about helping young learners build a strong and confident foundation in maths from an early age. I understand that children learn best when they feel relaxed and encouraged. My teaching style is patient, friendly, and structured, focusing on clear explanations and step-by-step learning. I aim to make maths simple, engaging, and enjoyable, especially for beginners. I can help with: Number recognition and counting Basic addition and subtraction Shapes, patterns, and measurements Building problem-solving and logical thinking I adapt my lessons to suit each child’s learning pace and needs, and I ensure a supportive and positive learning environment. As a beginner tutor, I am highly dedicated, attentive, and committed to helping children progress with confidence. I look forward to supporting your child in their early maths journey.

About the lesson

For EYFS and primary children, lessons are: Short, engaging, and interactive Based on the Early Years Foundation Stage framework Focused on number sense, counting, patterns, and confidence I use: visual aids simple games everyday examples repetition without boredom Children are never rushed. They learn at their own pace, building confidence step by step. The aim at this stage is simple: “Numbers should feel friendly.”
