Vaz is a very friendly and helpful individual. He is definitely what I would call a 5/5 star tutor. One of the best people I have ever met.

Worked in my secondary school as a substitute teacher over a long period as my history teacher had just had a baby. I never really enjoyed history and used to exclude myself to my own table which inevitably affected my learning as I didn’t have anyone to discuss the work with. But he built a relationship with me aside from the work as one person to another, almost dissecting the reasons I didn’t enjoy the subject and learning which way I learnt best. He then began to include me in the lessons by asking me questions or even asking me to explain something to others, that he had just sat down and gone over with me. This helped me gain confidence in the subject but also in teachers and education in general. I almost forgot I was going into a lesson and felt like I was going to visit a friend. He was my history teacher for one of the main two years of my revision and learning time for my GCSE’s. I was predicted a B and achieved an A. For me the best teacher I’ve ever had and just a real genuinely good person.
