About Ciaran

Hi, thanks for looking at my profile. My name is Ciaran and I am a physics and maths teacher currently working at leading school in Lima, Peru.

I really enjoy working with children and am often commented on having a calm and approachable manner. Choosing me as your tutor, you will be assured that I will work hard to get students great results, improve their confidence bring enjoyment to their studies.

I have recently graduated in Physics from Warwick where I got the 2nd highest dissertation mark in my year. Since then, I completed a PGCE at the IOE - the number one university in the world for education - and have been able to improve my teaching immensely. After spending a fruitful year at Stowe School in Buckingham, I took a teaching position at Markham College Lima and have plans in the future to complete a PhD.

Through mentoring and class teaching, I have built up an extensive body of experience and materials that I can use to teach your child to the best of their potential.

During university I was part of the physics mentoring team, where I taught and guided younger physics undergraduates during difficult parts of their degrees. This helped me improve as a teacher and gave me skills that I bring to tutoring sessions.
