About Jordan

I am currently a first-year BAcc student at Stellenbosch University, having recently completed my IEB matric with 5 distinctions and an 82% overall average. My strongest subjects are Mathematics and Accounting, and I achieved solid results in both during high school.

Although I do not have formal tutoring experience yet, I have often helped friends and classmates understand difficult concepts, especially in Maths and Accounting. This has helped me develop the ability to explain complex problems in a simple, step-by-step way that is easy to understand.

My teaching style is patient, supportive, and focused on building real understanding rather than memorisation. I enjoy breaking down challenging topics into simpler parts and adapting my explanations to suit each student’s pace and learning style.

I specialise in online lessons, which allows for flexible scheduling and the use of clear, structured explanations and examples. My goal is to help students gain confidence in their abilities and improve their performance through consistent understanding and practice.

About the lesson

I offer tutoring in High School Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and Accounting for students from Grade 8 to Grade 12. I am currently a first-year BAcc student at Stellenbosch University and recently completed my IEB matric with 5 distinctions and an 82% overall average.

I aim to make difficult topics more approachable by breaking them down into simple, clear steps and reinforcing them with practice questions similar to those used in tests and exams.

Having recently completed high school myself, I am very familiar with the IEB curriculum, exam structure, and common problem areas students face. This allows me to tailor my lessons to each student’s needs, whether they need help catching up on basics, improving test performance, or preparing for exams.

I maintain a patient and supportive teaching style, encouraging students to ask questions and actively engage with the material so they can gain confidence and improve their results over time. Lessons can be conducted online or in person depending on preference and location.
