About Akash
I enjoy working with students who want to improve their understanding and confidence in maths, whether they are struggling with basics or simply need clearer explanations. My ideal students are those at Primary or GCSE level who feel maths is confusing, stressful, or intimidating. I aim to support students at their own pace and help them feel comfortable asking questions without fear of making mistakes.
I want to teach maths because I have seen how much difference clear explanations can make. Many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because concepts were not explained in a simple and logical way. I enjoy breaking down problems step by step and helping students reach that “now I understand” moment. Teaching maths allows me to share this skill while helping students gain confidence, improve their performance, and develop a more positive attitude towards the subject.

I am a university student with a strong background in mathematics and Physical Science and a passion for teaching. I focus on explaining concepts in a simple, step-by-step way so students actually understand, not just memorise formulae. I believe maths becomes easy when it is taught clearly and calmly.
I am patient, friendly, and supportive, and I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s level and pace. My goal is to build confidence as well as improve results.
