About Tahira
I am a student and have experience tutoring k-12 students. I have experience in private and group tutoring in Algebra, College Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and calculus. My students were used to be fellow classmates and high school students. The tutoring session not only boost their overall grades, but it also helped them to develop creative ways to solve problems. I will be more than happy to continue helping other students since I believe that I have the skills. Moreover, I am committed to helping others.

My teaching method is to approach each topic according to the students whom I am teaching and the difficulty fo the subject. I use an example to explain the topic. Since the subject is mathematics, it involves more hand on project and group works. I strongly encourage my students to work in a group and learn ways to improve their skills in more than one ways.

Details
The rate varies if the tutoring place is at students' convenience by the distance I have to travel. One dollar per every 4 miles travel will be added to the rate. To cancel any session, the student must notify one business day prior to the meeting time otherwise no refund will be granted.
