Hi everyone! My name is Jasmine Liu from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, and I just graduated from high school. I will be attending Brown University in the fall as a Statistics and Economics major! I will primarily be helping with math involving the school or AP curriculum as well as standardized test prep for the APs and SAT/ACT. These lessons will be for elementary to high school students.
My teaching method includes:
-Brain warm-ups and teasers
-Going over study techniques and active recall tips to practice at home
-Homework help or workbook review for school math
-Testing techniques tailored to standardized test math
-Math riddles
-Interactive games (cards, fun websites, etc.)
My role as a tutor goes beyond just teaching, but feeling like a study buddy who is there to provide support for questions while reinforcing your current math foundation.
