About Thomas

I am currently a third year math student at the University of Alberta. I graduated from high school with a 93% average, including straight A's in math and physics. I went to high school in BC, so I have a good understanding of BC and AB high school education and school applications.

About the lesson

- My teaching philosophy is grounded in the idea that learning should be engaging, interactive, and, most importantly, fun. I employ a variety of techniques to ensure that students not only understand the core concepts of math and physics but are also able to apply them creatively in various contexts.
- A typical lesson with me starts with a brief review of previously covered material, reinforcing foundational knowledge and ensuring we're building on a solid base. We then delve into the new topic, where I introduce concepts with clear explanations and relevant examples.
- My dedication to making math and physics accessible and enjoyable sets me apart. With a focus on middle and high school students, I tailor my sessions to address the curriculum requirements and the unique challenges these students face. My approach is adaptive, catering to the diverse learning styles of my students, ensuring that each finds a path to success.
