About Kelsey
I am a college student, majoring in math, who has had a strong passion for math since fifth grade. This past semester I was the math tutor for my small university and gave weekly tutor sessions. Growing up, I was in math clubs such as lego robotics, math counts, etc. which really sparked my love for math. I think the key to tutoring is understanding what the student needs and switching my teaching style accordingly.

The main focus of any tutor session should be the student. I prefer one-on-one interactions to get a better understanding of who I am working with. I give lessons to anyone in middle school or high school. I believe helping a student love math is the first step towards getting them fully involved and receptive to being taught.
