About Tony

I've worked with students for over 10 years, and I've insight into both sides of the student/teacher experience. Chances are good that you are studying this subject because you are also interested in studying something else like chemistry, biology, or physics, so I can help you speak those languages also! I consider myself a polymath, having studied sociology and political science, then on to mathematical statistics, with lots of programming experiences in between and through, then I went back to school for more studies, currently applying to study pharmacy!

About the lesson

You can expect clear explanations, descriptive overviews, and plenty of examples to help concepts make sense.

Bring your questions and topics — we’ll work through them together at your pace.

Lessons are open to all learners, from K–12 and college students to lifelong learners who simply want to explore math and statistics.

What sets me apart is the blend of academic expertise, professional experience, and real-world perspective.

I’ve worked as a statistical consultant, data analyst, and college math instructor, as well as a K–12 substitute teacher. I also enjoy exploring biology, chemistry, and physics, where math naturally connects to the world around us.

My goal is to make math interesting, relatable, and rewarding — and yes, you might even get a little homework!
