About Terence
I am a BSc graduate in Mathematical Statistics through Witwatersrand University. I've always had a knack for numbers and solving mathematical problems so i naturally take a lot of pride in inspiring the learners i tutor towards the same direction. I have several years' worth of tutoring experience in both private and group settings. Having previously worked as an analyst for a consulting firm, i enjoy showing my students how the problem solving skills i teach become directly relevant to solving real-world problems in the work environment.

From the get-go i always set up a free and friendly atmosphere because when learners feel free to ask questions and express themselves, it really does accelerate the learning process. It also makes it easier to gauge their true level of understanding on a particular topic. I then pitch all the learning material at a level which is as simple as possible for a particular learner to quickly understand and still achieve the required learning outcomes. To cap it off, i concentrate a big chunk of time on "exam standard" revision materials to fully prepare my students for their final exams.
