About Maryan
I am an aspiring nuclear engineer in my first year, who is studying for a degree in mathematics and physics. Since I am in my first year of university, my memory of A-levels is pretty fresh which means I am very knowledgeable with exam technique. I'm also very understanding of the struggles that students can have when studying something like further maths, since some of the maths is pretty wild and isn't seen until first (or even second) year of university!
Nevertheless, I am confident in helping any student struggling with maths, further maths or physics because I achieved A*,A*,A respectively.

I believe practice is the best way of learning. That's why I like to start off with questions that test conceptual understanding, moving on to challenging questions as the lesson progresses. I treat my lessons as an informal conversation between myself and yourself, since the formality is for the classroom and I believe tutoring should be an informal time to actually discuss concepts and exam technique.
I typically tend to host lessons for an hour, but I am flexible with timings. I have 1 year experience as a GCSE tutor in maths and physics as well as 6 months experience as an A-level tutor. I am currently a first year student studying for a degree in Mathematics and Physics. The lessons I offer are for anyone who is doing A-levels.
