About Sasha
Hi, I’m Sasha! I’m a Grade 12 high school student, and math has always been my strongest subject. I genuinely enjoy helping others understand math and feel more confident in their abilities.
I have experience tutoring my peers at school, and I’m excited to extend that support to students in Grades 1–8. I am patient, approachable, and willing to explain a concept in different ways until it makes sense. I believe every student can improve in math with the right guidance, practice, and encouragement.
When working with students, I create a comfortable environment where they can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn without feeling pressured. My goal is to make each lesson productive and enjoyable while helping students develop skills they can use independently.

My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and personalized. I adapt each lesson to the student’s grade level, learning style, strengths, and areas where they need extra practice. A typical lesson starts with reviewing what the student already knows, followed by a step-by-step explanation of the topic. We then work through examples together before the student practices independently.
What sets me apart is that I am a student myself, so I understand the challenges students can face when learning math. I can explain concepts in a relatable way and encourage students to ask questions without feeling embarrassed. My goal is to help students improve their math skills, build confidence, and become stronger problem-solvers.
