About Ishita
I am about to graduate from secondary school with an International Baccalaureate diploma, in which I have completed and succeeded in the highly accelerated IB AA Mathematics course and maintained a 4.0 GPA. Starting in the fall, I will be studying engineering at university. I am thus qualified to teach from elementary to high school math as well as AP high school math.

My lesson plans will be customized to the preferences of each student. In general, they will consist of a teaching session about whatever we have planned or what they are doing in school, with practice questions embedded throughout to ensure active progress. At the end, additional homework can be assigned to students.
During lessons, I will use my extensive knowledge of mathematics to apply every method possible in an adaptive way to make difficult concepts easy for my students to understand and score well on. I also have strong interpersonal skills and will be able to playfully improve students' approach to math and overall academic results, regardless of their current performance, and thus relieve their stress. Finally, I have excellent communication skills, can quickly grasp exactly where a student struggles, and will come to every lesson well-prepared and provide feedback and updates to parents if they wish. Even between lessons, if a student has questions that they don't want to wait until the next lesson to discuss, I will be available to email/chat and explain it to them.
My lessons can be tailored to your needs, whether that be requiring more practice problems similar to your schoolwork, practice problems much harder than your schoolwork to fulfill those few complex questions that show up on tests/exams, or anything else.
