About Timothy
Hi everyone! My name is Tim Rajpathak and I’ve been a math tutor for 16 years. It disturbs me to see people struggle with math and therefore, I look for ways to make it easier for people to understand. I tutor from kindergarten through college.

I compare problem-solving to my client’s hobbies or real life scenarios, as well as showing people how to solve problems, step-by-step. I sometimes use humor (or play problem-solving games), to make my sessions more entertaining.
I analyze math concepts and write my own notes to better explain them. These notes explain why something is the way it is. They not only have helped clients solve problems on their own, but also helped them pass their math classes.
I'm patient with my clients. I encourage them to ask questions if they don't understand something and to NOT feel bad about it. My ultimate goal is to help them overcome any challenges they are experiencing in their math classes. All I ask is mutual respect.
