About Veronica
I know that math can be stressful if you feel like you're lost all the time. Taking time to figure out why students are not understanding a lesson or a concept, gives students the confidence that they can understand math. There are many different ways to teach math and with many new techniques being taught, parents can often feel that they can no longer help their children. This is where I step in and help students learn the math the way their teachers are teaching it while showing them other ways that might make them understand the concepts more. I like to take what seems scary at first and make it into something that students feel comfortable doing on their own. Every student needs a confidence boost and that confidence boost is different depending on the student.

Hello! I like to meet with my students and see what their needs are before we set a game plan. Each student is different and will need different help. I can work with math students ranging from elementary math up to high school Algebra 1. During our lesson, we can focus on schoolwork or on skills that students need more practice on.
