About Alexandre
I have an economics background and I was a data scientist for some time. Although these subjects do require heavy reliance on math, I never considered myself a math person until I realized something. It is not that I was learning disabled in math, it that math is plagued with teaching disabilities. Once I cracked the code to really learn math and build understandings, not rote learning, I became a math person and so can you! Notably, I built an intuitive understanding of calculus I would like to impart to students!

It is the ADEPT model. I use analogies, diagrams, examples, plain English, and finally, review the technical definitions of concepts and formulas. This later part no longer is foreign to students once they have understood how to reason in analogy.
