About Parham
I hold a Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Electrical & Computer Engineering from McMaster University in Ontario, where my research focused on optical wireless communications. I have 7+ years of teaching experience as a TA at both McMaster and the University of Tehran, and I have tutored 130+ students across +1100 hours throughout Canada and the US.
My engineering background means I teach math the way it's actually used — with intuition and purpose, not just procedures. I know exactly where students get stuck, whether it's a grade 12 Calculus concept or a second-year university proof, and I build each session around your specific course material.

Every session is built around your course — your textbook, your professor's slides, your upcoming exam. I don't use generic problem sets; I work through what you're actually struggling with right now.
Here's what a typical session looks like: we start by identifying exactly where you're stuck, I walk you through the concept from first principles until it clicks, then we practice with exam-style problems until you can do it on your own. I record sessions on request and send typed notes after each lesson.
I'm available for one-time exam prep sessions as well as ongoing weekly tutoring. Most students see a noticeable improvement within 2–3 sessions. Reach out to confirm availability — I typically respond within an hour.

Payment must be completed at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
3. Cancellation & No‑Show Policy
Payments are non‑refundable if you cancel fewer than 24 hours before the scheduled start time or if you do not attend. A session is deemed a no‑show if the student has not arrived within the first quarter of its length (e.g., 15 minutes of a 60‑minute lesson).
