About Tara

I have been tutoring math for years, and I genuinely love it. Some people say math is boring - I say math is stressful, and many students never get to enjoy it because of this fact. That's why I make all my lessons fun and engaging while still keeping in mind my students' learning goals. I am determined to help your child feel confident in mathematics!

About the lesson

I like to use a lot of visual aids to help students understand. I always explain concepts myself first, as I don't like making anyone play a guessing game. After I've explained, however, I encourage students to explain the same concept in their own words. That way, we both know they've understood.

Reviews

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience had by the students of Tara.

Perfect! Tara is an excellent tutor because she takes the time to explain the problem and guide you through the steps. She’s very understanding about how much time you need to grasp the concepts and always makes sure you’re comfortable to move on the next lesson!

Tara is not just whip-smart, but extremely creative. She is able to figure out where each person's roadblocks lie and tailor her teaching style accordingly. Tara will leave her mark on you not only as a student but as a person. You'll also have fun interacting with her. I recommend her highly.
