Hello! I’m Onyero Walter Ofuzim, a Graduate Student at the University of Calgary. I have supported ENEL 469/680, ENSF 300, ENCM 369, and ENEL 441.

About the lesson

My approach
* Diagnostic first: brief quiz or chat to find gaps and goals, then a custom plan (syllabus-aligned).
* Concept → method → practice: build intuition, formalise with formulas, then apply to exam-style problems.
* Active learning: worked examples → “fade-out” steps → you solve; lots of why-questions and quick checks.
* Memory tools: spaced recall, error logs, and mini-summaries to make ideas stick.
* Dual coding: sketches, block diagrams, and code notebooks (Python/MATLAB) alongside equations (if needed).

A typical lesson (60–90 min)
* Check-in (5 min): wins, roadblocks, and today’s target.
* Concept map (10 min): 1–2 key ideas with visuals or quick derivation.
* Guided practice (25–35 min): exam-style problems solved together; we annotate steps and common traps.
* Independent try (10–15 min): you solve a parallel problem; I coach only where needed.
* Wrap-up (5 min): 3 takeaways + a tiny homework set with solutions.
* Extras (as needed): code walkthroughs, lab prep, or past-paper strategy.
You get: neat notes, solution outlines, and (for coding) a Jupyter/MATLAB file to keep.
