About Sharon

Hi, I’m Sharon! I’m a Computer Science graduate currently pursuing a Master of Artificial Intelligence at RMIT. I’ve worked as a software engineer, led teams, and taught students through community programs.

I enjoy breaking down difficult ideas into simple, relatable steps and creating a comfortable space where students can ask questions without feeling pressured. Whether you’re starting from scratch or trying to rebuild your fundamentals, I’ll work at your pace and focus on understanding rather than memorizing. I love creating personalized plans, timetables, calendars - your own productivity system that helps you follow through with your studies/work, as personally this has helped me get into several internships and jobs at Uni.

My goal is to help you become confident enough to eventually learn and ace everything on your own!

About the lesson

I teach from the fundamentals, using simple, relatable explanations and no-pressure practice. My goal is lasting understanding, confidence and independent learning. Lessons are personalized to each student’s pace, level and goals, with clear, practical step-by-step guidance.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although I can adapt the structure depending on the student's age, level, attention span and goals. A typical lesson may include a quick review of previous concepts, learning a new concept from the fundamentals, guided practice, and independent problems to make sure the student can apply what they have learned.

I have a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science with a 9.58/10 CGPA and am currently completing a Master of Artificial Intelligence at RMIT. I also have professional experience as a Software Engineer and have taught students through volunteering and community programs. My technical background allows me to teach programming in a practical and structured way, while my experience working with teams and students has taught me to communicate patiently and clearly.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, school students, university students and anyone who wants to strengthen their fundamentals in Mathematics, Trigonometry, Probability, Geometry, Java, React and Frontend Development, as well as students looking to improve their English or learn the basics of guitar.

Most importantly, you do not need to be “good at the subject” before starting. We start from where you are, build from there, and work forward together.
