Retired College Professor. I taught for 35 years. I have taught thousands of students. My doctorate is in mathematics education. My specialities are elementary statistics and algebra. I taught at the same university for 32 years. I can adapt my teaching style to fit a student's learning style.

My dissertation was about two approaches to teaching mathematics in general. One is to teach procedures using drill and repetition. My preferred approach is to guide a student into an understanding of the concepts. Which approach depends on the students readiness.
