About Nena

Hi! I’m Nena, a curious and analytical person who thrives on solving problems and making complex topics easy to understand. Originally from the Netherlands, I recently moved to Brisbane, bringing with me a strong academic background from Delft University of Technology, where I earned a Master’s in Engineering & Policy Analysis. In my previous role as a manager at an engineering consultancy, I led a team focused on digital solutions and data analysis. Throughout my career, I’ve always found fulfillment in helping others understand complex ideas—whether it was explaining data models to my colleagues or helping a family member untangle a mess of Excel formulas that seemed to have a life of their own! I truly believe that everyone can grasp difficult subjects when they are given the right tools and support. This passion for helping others understand led me to tutoring, where I can share my knowledge and inspire others to unlock their full potential.
