About Eugene

I’m a Master’s graduate in Software Engineering with 4+ years of tutoring experience helping students in junior high, high school, and university improve their grades and confidence.

I specialize in:
• Math (All levels)
• Physics (All levels)
• Introductory Programming

My students typically improve because we focus on:
✓ Rebuilding weak foundations step-by-step
✓ Clear, structured problem-solving methods
✓ Exam strategy & pattern recognition
✓ Teaching students how to think independently

Every session is tailored to the student. If they’re behind, we rebuild fundamentals. If they’re strong, we sharpen speed, accuracy, and deeper understanding.

Message me with your current course and goals, and I’ll outline how I can help.

About the lesson

After 4 years of tutoring dozens of students across junior high, high school, and university, one thing is clear: no two students learn the same way.

I focus on:
- Breaking down complex concepts into simple, intuitive steps
- Teaching how to think, not just what to memorize
- Reinforcing learning with exam-focused strategies and pattern recognition
- Adjusting explanations, pace, and practice style to the individual student

My approach is adaptable depending on what you need! For students who want to catch up, I slow things down and rebuild fundamentals. For strong or advanced students, I push deeper understanding and efficiency.

Lessons can be fully collaborative online or in-person in Calgary.
