About Megan

Forget professionalism. I am sure if a professional was what you were looking for then you would not be seeking help from a tutor in the first place when it was a professional who left you needing to seek an outside source for more help. I am a casual but very respectful person and I UNDERSTAND the importance of personal space. I know it can be hard to schedule around the things in your life... It can be daunting because you feel like asking for help from a tutor means you are bad at the subject and you may have wasted so much time with nothing to show for it... Sometimes it can make it feel pointless when all the effort put in shows nothing for it... Others can judge but if they are not helping do not listen to a word they say. I am here to try and help you; all you have to do is ask. I am a person too, I know how it feels to fail over and over again. I definitely failed more than most; but because of that I know HOW I failed and what to do differently. That is actually why I am great at math. Because I had to fail to better know why I kept failing. Every tiny mistake was another note on a page telling me what not to do AND what TO DO in order to get it right the next time. I am just like you and I have things I struggle with too. I understand the feeling of frustration, exhaustion, disappointment, and overall avoidance after failing so much it just comes naturally. I may not be very professional, but I am exceptional at what I do; give me a chance to help you and you may find you are too.

About the lesson

My lessons are meant to explain what others did not or have not explained thoroughly or clearly enough to be understood by the student. My teaching style is actually stress-free for both parties involved.

And yes, I can teach this to a 5-year old. I know my stuff; and I am willing to prove it.

My lessons are for anyone needing help with understanding even the basics of mathematics; ask for help so you can receive it.

I specialize in Algebra and maybe a little calculus. I am rusty on trigonometry though I passed it in high-school. It can be hard to explain what my lessons will be about when every student needs a different area of tutoring for the subject... My lesson plan depends on what you can do and what you need to learn and how fast to meet your goal. But, the good news is that everyone who has ever been tutored by me has improved significantly and the sessions were fruitful. Take that as you will. My lessons are fun, because I want you to see how it becomes a puzzle using the right formula to develop the frame. Puzzles can be solved in different steps as long as you know the frame. Same goes for math.
