I offer personalized Math and Physics tutoring for middle school, high school, and college students. As an officially authorized tutor with 4+ years of experience, my background covers Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus I/II/III, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Physics. including AP Math, AP Physics, and SAT Math prep.
In lessons, I focus on:
identifying exactly where the student is getting stuck
explaining concepts in clear, step-by-step ways
building confidence through guided practice
preparing for quizzes, exams, AP tests, SAT, homework, and long-term improvement
My teaching style adapts to each student's pace and learning needs. I don't just help you get the right answer; I make sure you understand why the method works, so you can solve similar problems independently.
I also offer flexible support beyond traditional tutoring; if you only need help completing homework assignments or assistance during an online exam, that works too. I adapt to whatever format is most useful for you.

I started working with Amir back in pre-calculus and algebra, and liked him so much I kept going for Calc I. He teaches in a really structured way that’s easy to follow . I would say I like how interactive his sessions are because I don’t get the chance to ask my instructors questions right away and I just let it go. Before my Calc I exam I was pretty stressed, but he went through everything with me and made it all click. Ended up getting a 94% on that exam. He just has a way of making things make sense. Would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a math tutor
