About Yasmine

I am a Mathematics and Statistics graduate student at McGill University. I have a great passion for teaching and helping others understand my favorite subjects. I have been a TA for two consecutive years at McGill teaching Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Statistics. I have also been a tutor for over four years now, helping students from different levels starting from primary school to University, in different topics related to mathematics and statistics. I master three languages, English, French, and Arabic.

About the lesson

I always make sure my students understand the basic concepts of the topics they are studying and teach them how to think for themselves instead of just giving them the solution. I am very patient and always adapt my approach to the student's background and learning abilities. Most importantly, every time I give a lesson, I try to learn more with my students and have fun!

Perfect! Yasmine has been an amazing tutor! Very understanding and extremely knowledgeable. Prior to doing lessons my first exam score was around a 66, my last exam was an 88.5.

Also I have ADHD, so sitting through tutoring can be challenging for me. Yasmine was extremely patient and considerate, so would highly recommend her if you also have LD or ADHD learning issues etc.

I will be booking more if I end up taking the next statistics course.
