About Pranshu
I'm Pranshu, a student researcher with a strong background in math and computer science. Outside of class, I do machine learning research aimed at academic conferences, and I make my own animated videos explaining math concepts, which means I don't just know this material, I spend real time thinking about how to make it clear to someone else.
I take tutoring seriously. That means showing up prepared for every session, explaining things clearly instead of rushing through them, and being honest if something needs a second explanation or a different approach. I'm patient, I don't make anyone feel bad for not getting something right away, and I communicate clearly about scheduling and progress.
I have been doing this with students in person for 3+ years, but the skills behind it, the math, the coding, and the ability to explain both clearly, are not new. Try a first session and see for yourself.

Hi, I'm Pranshu. I've always learned math and code by seeing them, not just hearing about them, so that's how I teach too.
My approach starts with whatever's actually confusing right now, not a fixed script. I walk through the idea visually first (I build my own animated math explainers in my free time, so I'm used to breaking a concept down until it actually clicks), then we work through problems together until you could explain it back to me. I ask a lot of "why does this work" instead of just "what's the answer," because that's what actually sticks on a test.
A typical lesson starts with a quick check on whatever tripped you up since we last talked, then a short walkthrough of the concept, then a few problems we solve side by side, then one you try on your own while I watch and only step in if you get stuck. We end with a clear idea of exactly what to practice before next time.
What sets me apart is that I'm not far removed from the classes I'm teaching. I took algebra through calculus and the SAT and ACT recently enough to remember exactly where they get confusing, and I currently do machine learning research on the side, so I'm not just repeating a textbook, I actually use this math.
These lessons are for middle school through high school students working on algebra, geometry, algebra 2, precalculus, or calculus, students learning to code for the first time or working through AP Computer Science, and anyone prepping for the SAT or ACT math section.
