About Casimir
Hi, I'm Casimir! I'm a physics Masters (MPhys) student at the University of Edinburgh, originally from Belgium. Over the years, I've developed a real passion for sciences and mathematics, and the way the two are interconnected. I'm equally passionate about teaching this perspective to others, and helping them get the tools they need to succeed in school and future projects.
To tell you a bit more about my academic background, I received the Neil Arnott prize for attaining the highest grade in my cohort during year 3 of my Bachelors, and obtained an Edinburgh Award for participating in the Maths Buddies peer mentoring scheme at the University of Edinburgh.

My lessons are tailored to the student in order to favour a 1-to-1 approach that optimises their learning outcomes. In practice, this means that lessons follow a logical thread from one session to the next, to ensure that the intuitions gained by the student are assimilated. It also means that I adapt the content of the lesson with the material that the student had the most difficulties with, so that the lesson key takeaways will help the student for upcoming tests/exams.
