About Daniel
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from UT Austin and a Master's degree in Statistics from Columbia University. I was a tutor for the Department of Statistics at Columbia University where I tutored undergraduate probability classes. Since graduating I have been working as a statistician at an educational testing company. I am very passionate about mathematics and enjoy teaching and learning with students of all levels and backgrounds!

I teach probability and statistics concepts from the ground up with a heavy emphasis on learning through doing.
A typical lesson plan would include an explanation of the concept, followed by the working of several problems. I would then have the student work problems on their own and help to resolve any misunderstanding of the concept. I make sure to highlight how to correctly read math problems and understand what they are asking.
My lessons are for undergraduate college students taking probability, statistics, or calculus classes. I also make lessons for upper level high school students taking statistics or calculus classes.
