About Amelia

I am an engineering student from London studying Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Bristol Uni. I have completed my A levels in maths and further maths and have experience in tutoring year seven students in maths, helping them get on track with the rest of their class. I am also used to teaching younger students in other subjects as a Saturday school teacher's assistant, so I am used to explaining problems!

About the lesson

I am happy to tutor students from primary school up to A level in mathematics. I will go through example questions from various chapters to make sure the student is comfortable with the material and regularly do short tests to calculate their progress. This is a great way to practise harder areas and spend time talking through problems with someone who has sat through these exams!

Me and Amelia have worked alongside each other as Stem ambassador's for a couple of years and during that time I really got to see her shine. She is able to breakdown complex concepts to all age groups in a way that is easily understood and can lead workshops with confidence.
